PrimeFORCE Elite G5-300: independently measured by LightLab International
On 15 October 2026, LightLab International in Allentown (USA) measured the PrimeFORCE Elite G5-300. LightLab is an independent testing laboratory for light and lighting. The measurements were taken with two Gigahertz-Optik BTS2048 spectroradiometers (350 to 1700 nm), at 481 points per distance, in a room with stray light reduction. The panel was stabilised beforehand in accordance with IES LM-79-24. Report number LLIA003091-001.
| Distance | Centre point (mW/cm²) | Peak (mW/cm²) | Average over measuring area (mW/cm²) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 cm | 66.6 mW/cm² | 73.9 mW/cm² | 49.7 mW/cm² |
| 30 cm | 60.4 mW/cm² | 64.8 mW/cm² | 43.6 mW/cm² |
| 45 cm | 57.3 mW/cm² | 57.7 mW/cm² | 39.0 mW/cm² |
The light stays strong at a distance: at 45 cm, the centre point still reaches 86% of the value at 15 cm.
All eight wavelengths confirmed
| Specified | Measured peak |
|---|---|
| 630 nm | 634 nm |
| 650 nm | 651 nm |
| 660 nm | 661 nm |
| 670 nm | 677 nm |
| 810 nm | 809 nm |
| 830 nm | 833 nm |
| 850 nm | 857 nm |
| 1060 nm | 1061 nm |
Which models
The PrimeFORCE Max G5-600 consists of two Elite panels. The Compact and Advanced use the same LEDs, lenses and wavelengths; their own irradiance at a distance has not been measured separately. The Ultra will be measured by LightLab soon.
Why two figures?
Most brands publish measurements taken with a solar meter. Such a meter is made for sunlight and often reads red and near-infrared LED light 2 to 3 times too high. That is why we only mention the solar meter figure so that you can compare fairly with other brands. The LightLab figure, measured with a spectroradiometer in an independent lab, is the actual value.
How to compare red light panels fairly
Irradiance is the figure panels are compared on, but a figure only means something once you know how it was measured. Ask every brand these six questions:
- Who measured it: an independent lab or the manufacturer itself?
- With what: a spectroradiometer or a solar meter?
- At what distance? A value without a distance tells you nothing.
- Which point: the centre point, the peak or the average over the whole area?
- Were the wavelengths measured or only specified?
- Is the full report public, with a report number?
For the PrimeFORCE Elite G5-300, the answer is: independent lab (LightLab International), spectroradiometer, 15, 30 and 45 cm, all three values, all eight wavelengths measured, and the report is below.
